This policy explains how we collect, hold, use, and disclose personal information, and how you can access or correct it.

2. What personal information we collect

We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business functions, including name, job title, employer, business email, phone number, project requirements, correspondence records, and résumés for career applicants. We collect information directly from you or from your employer or technology partner where you are a nominated contact for a project engagement.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to respond to project enquiries and scope engagements, deliver professional services under partner agreements, communicate about active projects, process employment applications, and meet our legal and contractual obligations. We do not use personal information for direct marketing without your consent, and we do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Where your data is stored and processed

Contact form submissions made through this website are forwarded to an automated workflow hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure located in the Australia East region (New South Wales). Personal information submitted via our contact form is processed and stored within Australia and is not transferred offshore as part of this workflow. Microsoft Azure is certified under ISO 27001 and complies with the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Cloud Security Guidance. Any personal information you send directly to us by email is stored on our internal systems, which are hosted within Australia or in cloud environments with Australian data residency options selected where available. We take reasonable steps under APP 8 to ensure that any third-party services we engage to process personal information maintain privacy and security standards consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We may disclose personal information to technology partners where you are engaged as part of a joint project delivery, to subcontractors or personnel involved in delivering services, to our professional advisers (legal, accounting, insurance), and to government or regulatory bodies where required by law. We do not disclose personal information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

6. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. This includes access controls, encrypted communications, and limiting access to personal information to personnel who need it to perform their role. If we no longer need personal information and are not required by law to retain it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
